Workshop "292 days of the GDPR - New examples from daily practice" (12 March 2019, Ockenfels)

On 12 March 2019, DURY Compliance & Consulting GmbH (represented by its managing director, Ms Sandra DURY, lawyer and GDPR specialist) took part in a workshop on "292 days of the GDPR - new examples from daily practice", organised by the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate. 

As part of the workshop held at the Birkenstock Group, numerous companies came together to discuss issues of practical application of the GDPR. In presentations, company representatives reported on best practices in data protection management, including Boehringer Ingelheim Deutschland GmbH (data breach case study), Schott AG (implementation of information obligations) and BASF SE (best practice contract processing). In addition, representatives of the supervisory authorities shared their experiences as regulatory institutions with the public. The aim of the event was to provide companies with a platform to ask questions about the practical application of the GDPR, to jointly develop proposals for solutions and to receive suggestions regarding proven strategies for data protection management.
